Carenage Bay Resort Kids Club At the Sugar Palm Kids Club we believe everyone should have a chance to unwind and have a pleasurable holiday, and it is here that we make that happen.

Upon arrival, kids receive a welcome backpack containing goodies.

Canouan Resort's well-organized and trained staff provides daily in-and outdoors activities, including arts and craft, supervised games and nature tours.

There are two floor play areas with all sorts of age appropriate toys, games, interactive television, craft tables, reading corners and PlayStations, and a pirate ship playground!

Now adults can relax at the Amrita Spa, the pool, visit our beaches, or simply enjoy a challenging round of golf, while our young residents ages 4 to 14 can enjoy hours of fun and meet new friends from around the world.

The name "Amrita" is derived from an ancient Sanskrit legend in which, from the dawn of time, deities searched for Amrita, an elixir that would grant them eternal youth. Treatment Rooms
The design of our treatment suites is of Palapas, which are tatched roof structures made of palm fronds using Chiqui-chiqui Palm from the deep forests of Venezuela. These spa suites, all private and comfortable are constructed of selected woods from Brazil and Guyana built along the hillside, with striking views of the Caribbean Sea.

All treatment suites are inspired and designed in line with the 12 individual shades of blue, discovered in the ocean of Amrita Spa. Be invited to our blend of teal, lapis and azure spa suites.

Relax, on your own private ocean view deck along with Jacuzzi, Asian Day Bed and a selection of Amrita Spa teas. Two additional glass-bottomed treatment suites are built on the turquoise water set over a coral reef, and will be only accessible by boat just off the private jetty of Amrita Spa.

A unique Tree Palapa has also been designed to provide besides the stunning views of the sapphire blue water of the Caribbean Sea, your classes of Morning Chi and Meditation.

Spa Products
While the reception level is so stunning and tranquil where one will want to settle in, an open-air elevator gently lifts you to the various levels of treatment suites. An Amrita Spa retail shop is also available where residents will find a wide assortment of selected aromatherapy and wellnees products. Amrita Spa also features its private label aromatherapy oils as well as international brand products from Phytomer and Kerstin Florian.

For your dining pleasure, Spa cuisine has been created featuring a light menu of delicious and boldly flavorful dishes, designed to compliment your wellness experience. Spa cuisine is served at Godhal Beach Bar & Grill and is offered on selected dishes throughout the resort's dining venues.

Trump International Golf Club

The Trump International Golf Club, which has been named "Best Golf Course" for 2005 by Robb Report, is where golfers will believe that they have found heaven on earth. It is home to the resort's challenging 18-hole, par 72 golf course, designed by Jim Fazio. Offering unparalleled views of the bay, the course stretches for 60 acres along the sea front -- half of the course is built on the flat coastal plain and the other half is carved out of the hillside above the bay and the resort. The golf course has three distinct settings.

The front nine holes, #10, and #18 are in an amphitheater setting with one side open to view the ocean. Holes #11-16 and #17 are called the reservoir holes, which play above and around the lake that irrigates the golf course. Two streams flow into this lake from 30 meters above, cascading down and over the man-made retention walls. Holes #12-15 are the most scenic holes on the course and the most challenging. They sit on the top of the ridge and have a spectacular view of the neighboring islands. The breeze at the top of the ridge adds to the challenge, but makes these holes the most sensational to play.

Dive Canouan

Diving in Canouan Island The shops have a total of one instructor and four dive masters, as well as three dive boats. They offer dive/snorkel trips as well as sightseeing day-trips and dive instruction. Single-tank dives cost US$55 and two-tank dives go for US$100, including all equipment and instructors and/or dive-master guides. Dive packages are also available.
