Unspoiled
and virtually undiscovered, Canouan is one of the Caribbean's
most up and coming luxury destinations. Located in the
heart of the Grenadines, less than 20 miles south of Mustique
and 110 miles west of Barbados, the three square-mile
island is surrounded by small bays and coves, secluded
white sand beaches and one of the Caribbean's largest
coral reefs, offering incredible diving and snorkeling.
A short distance from the Tobago Cays in the southern
Caribbean, Canouan's enviable location also provides some
of the best sailing in the world. The hotel blends European
luxury with Caribbean casual elegance. Along with three
beaches, the resort features one of the largest freshwater
pools in the Caribbean at 12,900 square feet, where guests
are treated to mineral water and chilled towels to keep

Raffles Resort Canouan Island is located
on Canouan Island in the heart of the Grenadines in the southeastern
Caribbean. The resort is set on 300 acres of a 1,200 acre
private estate featuring three secluded white sand beaches,
all surrounded by one of the world’s largest coral reefs.
The new Raffles Resort is set in an amphitheatre style around
the protected bay with each of the 156 accommodations offering
breathtaking views. High on a hill overlooking the northern
Grenadines, with sweeping views over the resort and the reef,
is the exclusive Villa Monte Carlo. Located here will be the
European style Trump Club Privée, La Varenne a European gourmet
restaurant, as well as an elegant ballroom for private functions.
A full range of activities, based around
Canouan's miles of white sand and clear water will be available
for the sports orientated guest. Sunfish, snorkel gear, wind
surfing, Hydro-bikes and pedalos will be available on a complimentary
basis. Scuba diving and day sails can be arranged. The resort’s
tennis center at Godhal Beach offers four all weather tennis
courts floodlit for night play, pro-shop, rental equipment,
and resident tennis professionals. Day trips can be organized
to one or more of the following islands: Tobago Cays, Mayreau,
Petit Tabac, Palm Island, Union Island, Petit St. Vincent,
Morpion, Mustique and Bequia.Canouan and the Grenadines, is
where "Pirates of the Caribbean" II and III were
filmed. The protected bay offers calm waters and coral reefs
offshore teem with colorful marine life.
